Can I download the card as an MP4?
There's no video export button, because the card has to stay live for RSVPs and edits. To get a video, screen-record your phone while scrolling the card. The result is a normal video file you can share anywhere.

The easy way to make a wedding card video: choose a card that already moves, fill in your details, add a song, then screen-record your phone while you scroll through it. Fifteen minutes later you've got a clip for WhatsApp Status, Instagram Stories or TikTok, and the same card link goes to guests for RSVPs. The video gets attention. The link does the work.
In the catalogue, look for cards that move: Tirai Baldu (a curtain opens), Bertaut Kasih (the camera glides into a courtyard) or Taman Mawar (falling petals). A still card can be recorded too, but the video will feel flat.
Names, date, time, venue and programme. Check the spelling of names twice. Once a video is out on Status it's hard to pull back.
Paste a YouTube link for background music. It plays when the card opens, so your screen recording picks up the sound.
Open the card link on your phone. On iPhone, start Screen Recording from Control Centre. On Android, use Screen recorder in quick settings and choose to record media sound. Scroll slowly from the cover down to the programme, 15 to 30 seconds.
Trim the start and end in Photos or CapCut. Post to Status or Stories and put the card link in the caption so people can RSVP.
Video is great for the announcement. People watch, get excited, reply 'tahniah!'. But a video can't collect RSVPs, can't be tapped to open Waze, and can't be edited when the hall changes.
So use both. The video for Status and Stories. The card link for the WhatsApp broadcast and the family group, because that's where guests RSVP, open the map and leave wishes. The makcik who asks 'dewan kat mana?' just taps the Waze button.
| Video (screen recording) | Card link | |
|---|---|---|

| RSVP | No | Yes |
| Waze / Maps button | No | Yes |
| Edit after sharing | No, re-record | Yes, same link |
| Cost | Free, record it yourself | From RM10 one-time |
Wedding card video designers usually charge from around RM80 to a few hundred ringgit depending on length and animation. The results can be beautiful. But each revision may cost extra, and you still need a separate RSVP system.
With a moving card, the animation is already built into the design. Your own screen recording becomes the video, and the same card is the invitation with RSVP.
