Choose a tone, type the couple's and parents' names and pick the date. The invitation wording comes out with your names in place, and the Copy button puts it on your clipboard. The Malay version draws on our collection of 45 ayat kad kahwin; this English version has its own set.

Which tone to pick

  • Formal: the parents invite. Right for songket or classic cards and older guests.
  • Casual: the couple invite in their own name. Good for friends, colleagues and WhatsApp groups.
  • Islamic: opens with a doa, suits an akad nikah or walimatulurus.
  • Poetic: a little more flowery, for couples who want the card to read like a letter.

Check before you send

Check the spelling of the parents' names, especially titles like Haji, Hajah and Dato' and the bin or binti. That's the mistake the family group chat will spot first.

The generator works out the weekday from the date you pick. If the akad nikah and the reception are on different days, put both on the card.

Putting the wording into a digital card

Open any design in the catalogue, paste the wording into the invitation text, and publish. You can still edit the text after publishing, and the link you already shared on WhatsApp stays the same.

FAQ

Is the wording free to use?

Yes. Copy it, change it, and use it on a printed or digital card. No credit needed.

Why does the text show [Name ...]?

That's a field you haven't filled in yet. Type in the box above and it turns into the real name.

Can I get the wording in Malay?

Yes. Switch the page to Bahasa Melayu from the menu and the generator writes in Malay, using phrasing from our ayat kad kahwin collection.

Do I need to write bin or binti in full?

For the formal tone, yes. For casual, a nickname is fine as long as guests know who you are.
