Free Digital Wedding Cards: What's Actually Free

Straight answer first: the invitation card at MajlisKenduri isn't free. What is free is browsing every design, opening the full preview of each one without an account, and the Galeri Majlis photo gallery for guests. When you want your own names on a card and a live link, it's RM10 once. This page covers what free cards usually trade away, so you can decide with your eyes open.

What's free at MajlisKenduri

  • Browsing the full catalogue of 160+ designs, no account needed.
  • Previewing every card on your phone exactly as guests will see it, 3D and moving designs included.
  • The free Galeri Majlis: print the QR, put it on the tables, guests upload photos from their phones. The free tier shows the 50 newest photos and keeps them for 3 months.
  • The wedding budget calculator, hantaran calculator and card wording generator on this site.

What free digital wedding cards usually give up

A free card gets paid for somehow. Usually it's one of these, sometimes several. Check before you send it to 300 guests.

When a free card is genuinely enough

For a small majlis of thirty close family where everyone already knows the way to tok's house, a Canva image dropped into the family WhatsApp group is fine. You don't need RSVPs when your mum already knows who's coming.

Free cards start to hurt when the guest list grows and the caterer wants a headcount. Then you're chasing replies one by one, tallying in Notes, and answering 'where's the hall?' again and again because an image can't be tapped.

Why we don't have a free plan

A free plan has to be paid for by something. Usually it's ads on your guests' screens, or a limit that forces an upgrade at the worst moment. We chose a low price that's clear from the start: RM10 for a month of live card, paid once, no subscription.

It's also why our previews are complete. Open any card, scroll to the end, show your partner or your mum, all before you spend anything.

Free digital wedding card FAQ

Is there a free digital wedding card at MajlisKenduri?

The invitation has no free plan. Browsing the catalogue, full previews of every design and the basic Galeri Majlis are free. A one-time RM10 applies when you want to edit and publish your own card.

Is there a free trial?

No. That's why previews are fully open without an account, so you see the real card before paying.

Why not just use Canva for free?

You can, and for a small majlis it's enough. A Canva card is an image, so there's no RSVP, Waze button, guestbook or music, and every change means sending a new image.

Any hidden charges after the RM10?

None. RM10 covers a month of live card with every feature. There's no monthly subscription. For longer, pick RM20 or RM30, or extend later.

Is the event photo gallery really free?

Yes. The free gallery shows the 50 newest photos and keeps them for 3 months. Galeri Premium removes those limits, and there's a bundle that pairs Premium with one invitation card.
